MINUTE Function - Excel
Overview
The MINUTE function in Excel is a useful tool for extracting the minute component from a time. This function returns the value of a number between 0 and 59.
Example:
=MINUTE("3/21/2023 3:30 PM")
Syntax:
=MINUTE(serial_number)
serial_number: This is the time from which you want to extract the minute.
Example
In this example, the MINUTE function returns a value of 30 because the time it is extracting it from is “3:30 PM”.
